Reflection 101 (when kindness doesn't work)

When kindness doesn't work

Being kind does not always work.
But when it doesn't work
The things that would have worked,
would have worked only for a short while.
The things that would have worked
would have broken principles
could have broken relationships
could have broken trust,....


Too often I thought not-being-kind was the way
but almost always it was regretted sooner rather than later.

Whenever there is an opportunity to be kind,
let us make the right choice
